Providing Local Businesses with Global Investors

A business must have funds to work with but must also be properly presented both to gain such funding from outside and for the longer term when customers and partners are sought. This forms the beginning for the rationale for training and mentoring entrepreneurs and their teams. Beyond that, no client will buy from a company that they are worried will disappear before delivery is completed and a supplier will often base terms on how solid they perceive the recipient of their services to be. Partners will be even more insistent of stability. Nobody wants to enter a joint venture where they think they may be left hanging unless they bailout their partner.

There is no doubt that one of the most terrifying things any new business must face is a make or break formal presentation, yet almost without exception a young business will require one or more to be made. It matters not the purpose of that presentation nor to whom it is made, any way of improving the quality or reducing the stress has to be welcomed. Often all that is needed is a bit of practice and the more realistic that practice can be the better, so we give entrepreneurs that opportunity and feedback with an aim to improvement afterwards.

There are many other hurdles and practical tests that a young business must pass if it is to survive. The mentoring and coaching that we provide comes from people who have 'been there' and 'done that' all have built their own businesses through various stages and are prepared to put that experience on the table to help other teams build a business that will stand on its own and maybe one day provide a coach or a mentor who will help the next generation of businesses.

Sometimes this coaching is best done in a group, at others the individual touch is needed whatever is most appropriate to both the business and the individual, will be discussed with the entrepreneur before a plan of action is agreed. The coaching and mentoring and consultancy resources we have available can then be brought to bear to help the seedling grow into a mighty tree.
